Here in New South Wales, conditions have been tough for local farmers due to the sizeable falling of cattle prices. Yet because Crown State Pastoral has always maintained the quality of their cattle, they were able to command a higher price and is less affected by price fluctuations. Recently at the Regional Tamworth Livestock Exchange, Crown State Pastoral has sold 51 heads of Angus steers at a range topping price of 391c/kg; with an average weight of 422 kg per head.
